A Picture of the New Dog

Posted on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 at 3:03 pm

Some of you who heard the sermon on Sunday (Matthew Sermons II; Matthew 8:23) asked about what the new dog looked like.  Well, here he is.  Just so you get an idea of his size, the ball in the picture is about the size of a baseball.

I was out of town and missed Sunday’s sermon, so didn’t know you have a new dog. He is adorable and appears to be a purebred Beagle. Watch out. They like to run and have trouble staying with boundaries, whether physical or verbal. In fact, I spent a good part of my childhood chasing after our Beagle, Freckles. Enjoy him. There’s nothing like fur therapy for appeasing the troubled soul.

Thirty years ago when I first moved to Florida, I went back to Mississippi for a visit.  The first day there I volunteered to go get some bagels, and my mother asked, “Don’t they bark alot?”

Dr. Sam,

The dog is definitely a Presbyterian. Just look at that demeanor.

Yes he is like many Presbyterians, the more I try to get him to behave, demeanor he gets.  I’ll post a picture of him in his “jail cell” sometime.
