Evangelical Theological Society Meets Next Week

Posted on Thursday, November 8th, 2007 at 8:44 pm

O Tuesday, November 13, I, along with most of the faculty from Knox will be leaving for the annual meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society in San Diego.  I will be reading a paper on Zacchaeus as a comedic story, arguing that Zacchaeus was a little person (probably a dwarf).  I will have the opportunity to purchase the newest of textbooks at discount prices, see old friends, and hear some great papers on the latest theological topics.

I will give a full report when I return, but I won’t be leaving until Tuesday so if something strikes me, I may write a note or two before I leave.  I’ll post the recording of my speech after I return and fill you in on what books I was able to pick up.

Please pray for safe travel for all of the professors who are going to ETS as well as for Dr. Gage and myself who will be speaking.  Thanks very much.
